Yes. We highly recommend interested students to come for a trial lesson prior to sign-up. During the trial lesson, parents are able to view our swimming classes and speak with the coach should they wish to. At the same time, students will know if they are comfortable with the coach and the group during the trial lesson.
We will evaluate based on the :
1) child’s age
2) learning objective
3) swimming experience/proficiency
We will then recommend a suitable program/placement for the child according to the evaluation outcome and the availability of the time slots

There will be NO cancellation of classes. In view of lightning alert or heavy rain, land stroke drills will be conducted. As soon as the weather gets better, they will head back to the pool. No replacement class applies for bad weather conditions.
There will be an assessment test after every +/- 16 lessons depending on the child’s learning pace. If the child passed the assessment test, he/she will proceed to the next level.
No. Our assessment certification at each level is only for our school grading to the next level of the Learn-To-Swim program.

We strongly discourage changes of classes unless absolutely for unavoidable circumstances as it may disrupt the learning progress of the other students in other classes.
Requests can be made but subject to assessment/evaluation by Tao Li of the suitability of the student’s proficiency/level to join another class.
No. TLSS adheres to a strict and thorough selection process for all our swim coaches. All our swim coaches possessed recognised certification before joining TLSS.
At the same time, they must undergo an intensive in-house training with TLSS conducted by Tao Li, herself and must be assessed as competent in all aspects of a class before they are given classes of their own.
Thus, we have confidence in the teaching expertise and professionalism of all our coaches. Therefore, we do not practice the pre-arrangement of selection between coaches and students.
Parents may register for a private class with their choice of coach, if necessary.
